WHO WE ARE

La Nonna is an artisan fresh pasta concept where two minds, two passions and two cultures meet. We fuse slow, authentic Italian cooking with the energy and pace of London where customers demand fresh and delicious food, fast.

THE STORY

Our story began in 2018 when lifelong friends and business partners Daniele and Eduardo spotted an opportunity to bring ‘la bella vita’ to busy Londoners. Using Daniele’s Italian Nonna and her traditional recipes as inspiration we embarked on a mission to bring the best fresh pasta dishes in London town!

Our pasta is freshly made daily with zero zero flour from Italy and it is combined with egg, water and salt. Our sauces are made in- house with a Nonna’s love using the freshest ingredients sourced from Italy and our UK homeland. Nonna’s dishes are finished with a sprinkle of Pecorino or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese depending on preference and tradition and of course the pasta will be always cooked al dente, Nonna’s way!

WHY FRESH PASTA?

For La Nonna, fresh pasta is a way of life! But why do we prefer it to dry pasta? Firstly the taste as the egg adds another layer of flavour to the dishes. Secondly the more delicate and soft texture of the pasta makes every mouthful that much more enjoyable and lastly is the absorption of sauciness by the fresh pasta adding even more flavour to the mix. Freshly made pasta is unbeatable specially when you combine it with La Nonna’s homemade sauces, buonno!
